"Okay do we have enough napkins?" I asked the chef as I stood near the counter in the kitchen.
"Yep, a new box of them came in."
"Oh good. I was hoping we would. Okay everything alright?"
"It sure is Piper, now why not you go out there? Its okay we'll take care of it."
"Oh I know. I just want to make sure things are alright. You know you're right." I smiled and pat John on his shoulder, one of the most greatest cooks I've ever known. I walked out of the kitchen after waving and then looked around as people chatted away while eating. I smiled at that. They like the place!

Shadow came in and walked right past the protesting human who was checking names off a small list attached to his clip board. Shadow ignored his yelling and threats to call the cops. He saw Piper and headed towards her hugging her when he got there.
" The place seems wonderful and quite the attraction I hear. Your the talk of the city. Although that annoying little mortal at the door could be taught to respect his elders. " Shadow said throwing the man a look. He really didn't care whether or not the man liked him.

I hugged Shadow back. "Hello Shadow! So good to see you again! Well I was surprised. I think it was the cooking," I said after we parted from each other. I looked over his shoulder at the man and then turned to him. "Don't worry I'll handle it. You just go and grab yourself a steak. Um those that are not frozen is in the back. I'll be right back. It'll take a minute." I walked over to the man. "Okay what's going on here?"
"He's not on the list, Piper. I will call the police."
"One this is my restaurant and two he is the one who made it happen. If anyone would call the police it would be me. Now if I catch you treating a friend of mine like that one more time I would have to let you go."
"Sorry Ms. Halliwell."
"Thank you. Also what's wrong?"
"Oh the wife again. Kicking me out. For the third time. I'll get over it."
"I'm sure you will. Though you should apologize to him too." Mark nodded and headed over to Shadow. I watched as he apologized and explained his problems at home. Then he walked away. I smiled at Shadow and caught up to him. "See, told you I'll handle it."

Shadow heard the man out and nodded. Letting him go.
" Its probably just as well that you did. I'm carrying weapons on me right now so the police might get a little suspicious should the cops had been called. Of course if I was my old self I would just kill them all and let it be. But since I'm good now its hard not too! " Shadow said laughing. He was glad he wasn't an assassin anymore. He liked helping people out.
" No thanks I already fed but thank your for the offer. So enjoying the business are we? " Shadow asked her laughing.

I laughed as well. "Of course! I take much responsibility into those I run. Same when I had P3. I would be there making sure it won't fail. Now since I have this and have P3, the same goes for her. And you know everything is worked out so well. While I'm here, Chris and Wyatt is looking after P3 for me. And you helped out with the money so both won't be closed down."

Shadow smiled.
" Its good to know that you are enjoying yourself and everything is going well. Honestly did you ever think that you would be able to do this? How are the rest of the family? I have yet to meet them. " Shadow said laughing. He was pleased that she was living her dream and loving it.

"By myself? No not really I would have had to give up P3. But now its easier. I have both restaurant and club. The rest are fine, except Wyatt had to deal with yet another person messing with him and a spell that was cast. I'm going to find that person and blow them up. Other than that, pretty good even though I haven't seen Leo in ages. I hope he's alright. Well then why not you drop on by at the manor so that I could introduce you to the other members of my family?"

Shadow laughed.
" I could easily find them for you. I will plan on stopping by when I get the chance. Just let me know when. I am sorry to hear that Wyatt is being messed with. Where exactly is Leo? " Shadow asked curious. Last he had heard was that Leo was human. Had things changed and Shadow had not been informed?
" Well let us hope that you never have to let go of either. " Shadow said to her smiling. He did occasionally venture out to P3. He enjoyed the club immensely.

"Leo? Oh he's traveling about. Since he's human now he doesn't have to worry about charges or anything. Nothing had changed when it comes to that. He's just not here often. Hey wait a second buddy you said I won't have to." I smiled. "But that's good to hear you would say that than of instead 'you don't have to worry.' Hm maybe...next week sounds good? That is if I can get my sisters to come. You know them. Busy with their lives too."

Shadow nodded. He knew the Charmed Ones were very busy. But still he knew it would be nice if the whole family got to know their new guardian.
" I will finance both Piper never fear. I see. So the Elders are still mad at him? I never heard exactly why Leo lost his powers. Perhaps you could fill me in? " Shadow said smiling. He wondered what on earth Leo could have done to lose his whitelighter status.

"Honestly I do not know if they are still mad at him or not. I haven't spoken to any of the elders for years now. Leo had become an elder. After he was tricked into killing an elder by Barbas he had been attacked by the elders since he also killed Gideon who had betrayed him and who had stabbed our future son Chris. Leo became an avatar and the elders were angry at that. When Leo became an elder again he fell from grace since he fell for me."

Shadow listened to her explain Leo's fall and was amazed. He could not ever recall a time when a Whitlighter betrayed the others or fell for a human. This was truly an awe inspiring thing.
" I see. That is wonderful and sad all at the same time. Wonderful because you now know with out a shadow of a doubt that Leo loves you. Sad because he has lost his status as a Whitlighter. He was good at his job. Or so I have heard any way. " Shadow said to her smiling. He took a seat and smelled the blood from the meat. He wondered what the other humans in here thought. He knew he probably stuck out. Pale skin, bright colored eyes, dressed in all black, walking gracefully. Vampires were simply more noticeable then humans. Especially the way the Vampire moved. Of course Shadow was not really a Vampire. He was sort of his own creature. Descended from Wizards, born a Vampire and a Werewolf, he belonged to no class or species. He was his own.

"No its not a bad thing. I'm very much glad he is with me even as a mortal. We had gone through a lot, Leo and I. And in the end everything turned out okay. I fought so hard. And we even saw our future. In the future I will win that scrabble game." I chuckled as I sat down next to him. "Sure you don't want anything?"
