Shadow laughed. At the moment he was feeling quite fed. But he was just watching the blood anyway. He had respect for blood. He tried to avoid shedding it when he could.
" No thank you. I am fine. I had blood before I came. " Shadow said watching with amusement as several cooks near by flinched. Apparently they knew demons existed and Vampires. Interesting. He could always learn a lot by watching the body. The eyes.

"Alright." While I sat with my friend and the cooks walking by, three demons appeared. I look up seeing the demons. "Oh GREAT," I muttered, "just what I needed." I stood and looked at him. "Okay I have to do this." I lowered my hands and instantly the whole restaurant save for Shadow, myself and the demons froze. "That's better." I turn to the demons. "What do THEY want?"

Shadow's eyes had bled bright blue and he stood drawing his black pistol and took aim even before the demons had time to register the fact Piper had froze everyone. He looked at them down the barrel and waited for their explanations. Shadow knew he could easily take them by the way they acted and their power levels but he wasn't exactly sure about Piper. He knew she could handle herself but against three demons it wasn't gonna be easy.
" Three seconds to start talking or I open fire " Shadow said voice soft. He was in a killing mood now. He would love nothing more than to pull the trigger and squeeze off a few rounds into their faces.

The demons laughed as they looked at Shadow first then to each other and back to Shadow. "Bullets from guns can't kill us. Who is this moron?"
"This moron is someone you do not want to mess with," I snapped. "So you better start talking or he'll do it. And I'm glad he is here so that I won't have to use my power on all THREE of you."
"Please. Like he'll do anything." I turn to Shadow and raised a hand at him.
"Allow me." I turn to the one who spoke and flicked my hands. He exploded. "Anyone else? Start talking or he'll shoot the both of you. Oh and yes he does have something that can kill you. I give you the count of four. One...two...three..." The demons muted. "Four. Shadow hit it."

Shadow laughed and placed his gun back in his holster. Baring his fangs and letting a low demonic snarl loose he charged forward calling on his Vampiric speed. He knew that if this didn't work he could couple his powers with his werewolf half. Reaching the one on the left and also the biggest one Shadow grabbed him by the arms and broke them as if they were twigs. He then let loose with a round house kick sending the demon into the wall. It fell to the floor and let loose a snarl as it was in both pain and rage. Shadow snarled back his eyes pure blue now. The other tried to attack him from behind but Shadow knew it was coming. Spinning around he caught the demons arm as the demon tried to shove a fireball into his back. Snapping his arm Shadow spun the demon around and sunk his fangs into the neck. Ripping him open Shadow let him fall to the floor bleeding severely. Enough that it would kill him. Shadow took a step back and looked at the demon lying on the floor with both arms broke. He would be next. Even now Shadow's mind raced with things to do to him. He took a small step forward enjoying the fear on this Demon's face. He fed from the fear. This Demon knew he was gonna die like his other two brothers. Shadow wasn't thinking clearly or he would have questioned this one on who sent them. Hopefully Piper would realize this last surviving demon of the three sent to kill her would hold answers to her questions.

I walked up to the two demons and turned to Shadow. I was quite amazed. I turn to the last demon and knelt down at his level. "Well?" I asked.
"Okay okay. We came to kill you, then head onto your sisters."
"When well you give up?"
"Never."
"Well in that case." I flicked my wrists. He exploded in flames and then I did the same for the other two. I sighed and turned my head to Shadow. "This happens almost everytime. I'm used to this kind of thing. They always seem to come after us."

The moon drawing close affected Shadow. The Vampire half he could handle. His wolf was another matter. It wouldn't appear now but the urges would. He cleaned himself up and let his eyes bleed back to normal. The urge for more blood was strong. Shadow still had not learned to fully tame his wolf and probably never would. His creature was a thing of terrifying legend. The reasons tales were invented. He was the biggest and most fierce of all werewolves. He acted like a wolf too. Most could think like a human, talk like a human, Shadow couldn't. When he turned he was a like a true wolf. A monster of power and death. He would have to work on a way to change that. Especially with the babies on the way. He didn't want to hurt them. Thats why a dungeon was built in his and Angelle's castle. To keep him locked up on the full moon. Pushing the wolf down he closed his eyes and breathed heavy for a moment. He opened them and smiled. It worked.
" I hate when demons ruin a good talk. Still they were not much of a threat. I doubt they had planned on me joining ranks with you and the sisters. They will not be fools next time. This was more than a simple little assassination attempt. They were scouting. At least thats what it seems like to me. Perhaps I am wrong and am simply paranoid. But you need to be careful. " Shadow said simply.
" Piper the moon is coming soon. I need a place to change. Do you know of any place in the city with strong enough rooms to hold me? I can't fight the wolf all night. Sooner or later he comes." Shadow said trying to think of maybe an abandoned prison somewhere. Might be best really. Hopefully there was one around here.

"Trust me it has always been assassination attempts. We've gone through being dead and brought back to live many times but I can assure you I will be careful. Thank you." I paused for a moment to think where would be a good place for him. Then I thought about two places, that came to mind. "Why yes of course. There are two so you could you know pick if like. One would be my basement at the house. I could lock the door and make sure no one goes down to there. Then there are Alcatraz. It usually is closed during the nights."

Shadow thought for awhile. There was no true way to lock himself in Alcatraz. People give tours there to others so all the door are no longer lockable. This would be a problem. He would escape.
" I would rather not place your lives in danger. I think I will just try and fight the change till morning. Its worth the pain to see you live. " Shadow said slowly. He would be horrified if he woke up to discover he had attacked the sisters. Poor way to repay them.

I paused for a moment to think back about when Paige, Phoebe and I had turned into werewolves when the blue moon had came. So I have to wonder would it happen to Chris, Wyatt, and other children of ours? "Shadow, there is something I need to know. Do you remember when you have heard the story about the the whitelighters that was killed by three monsters? You know, werewolves, when the blue moon was out? If you do and know it was us, then here's the main question. Does it happen to my children and all children of us?"

Shadow heard her question and took time to think before answering. Yes he had heard of that. It had been told by so many Demon's that really the true story had been lost. But Shadow knew most of what happened. It had been his job to know.
" Piper, " Shadow said turning to face her, " if you were born or bitten by a werewolf I would say any offspring would carry the traits. But you three are not a true wolf. If they turned they would be something of an oddity like me. Born a wolf and a Vampire. I am not supposed to exist. But if you want my true opinion on the matter I would say no they wouldn't. They should retain their natural form. If you want I could watch over them and make sure. I could handle their wolves if they ever do turn. But honestly I don't think they will Piper. They should be fine. Besides you and your sisters turning was a fluke really. "
Shadow turned away and sighed. He just wasn't able to give a hundred percent answer. He was more then seventy percent certain they wouldn't change though.

"I see. But in case watch if they do turn, once the blue moon comes. When we had turned, we didn't know what had happened. One minute the whitelighter was alive and then the next day we found out that he was dead and then the second one was dead. We had thought it was something else but in the end it was us. And then Odin had messed with my husband, and the moon came we turned. It was always when the blue moon arrives. So I knew how you have felt when your wolf side took over. I could always check the book as well but thank you so much for your answer it was something that I needed."

Shadow laughed. He doubted very much whether a book would hold the answers Piper sought. Even after all these centuries Werewolves were still a mysterious creature. Every one knew the basics but there were things that couldn't be explained. Some things that don't need to be explained. But then again with out mystery the world would be a very uninteresting place.
" Piper you know what your beast felt like. Mine is like a separate being inside me. I feel what it wants, craves. Sometimes I feel the attributes and they affect me. I have even learn to tap into its power. I mean no disrespect Piper but you had to deal with it briefly. I have dealt with the wolf in me for over six hundred years. Nothing is easy when it comes to the supernatural. " Shadow said laughing to himself.
