Renesmee is depicted as being very beautiful, the most beautiful baby Charlie has ever seen and described even more gorgeous than Rosalie. She is described as having the facial features of her father, Edward, (high cheekbones, straight nose and full lips) as well as his unusual bronze hair color. However, she inherited curly hair from her grandfather, Charlie Swan, portrayed as ringlets that fall past her waist. Her eyes are described as chocolate brown, just like her mother, Bella's, were while she was still human. She has pale skin, which has a blush to it because her heart pumps blood (though it beats faster than a normal human heart). Her skin is as tough as a vampire's, but her temperature seems to be unusually warm, only a few degrees below that of a werewolf. Unlike her family's skin, Renesmee's skin glows slightly in the sunshine like back-lit alabaster rather than sparkling like diamonds. Due to the massive amount of flowing blood in her veins and the high pumping of her heart she has red cheeks like petals, purple eyelids, and pink palms.

She also likes to hear the voices of her parents, and shows affection towards Jacob. After she was born, she learns the vampire laws and limitations rather quickly and understands their consequences. She can memorize perfectly anything she sees or experiences, and understands people without much problem. Bella comments that she is already more intelligent than most adults, and has better control over her thirst than any of them.

Renesmee Carlie Cullen first became aware of her surroundings when she was in her mother’s womb. She loved the sweet sounds of her family talking and the calmness that they brought with them. When her father noticed her, Renesmee felt happiness and she could tell that she was already going to love them. Her mother’s was by far her favorite though. When she slept, her mother’s voice and heartbeat was her lullaby. That was when she first started loving her family, before she was born. When the time finally came for her to come into the world, her family wasn’t expecting it. She didn’t know why but she immediately starting trying to chew her way out, breaking her mother’s back in the process. Renesmee didn’t mean for it to happen, she really didn’t, that was the last thing she would have liked to do. Hurting her own mother wasn’t what she meant to do. When she was finally being taken out, there was an alarming bustle around her.
The energy in that room was very scary for her, she didn’t like all the shouting and off energy she was experiencing. Then all of a sudden she was out and she saw her mother for the first time. Her eyes connected with her own and Renesmee found herself in complete bliss that she finally found her mother for the first time. She was so happy. She then bit her mother, not trying to hurt her, just trying to figure out what to do. Then hands took her away from her mother and she wondered where she was going. The hands dropped her into the arms of another woman, a blonde one. Renesmee was crying loudly then. Where was she going? She didn’t want to leave! Pictures of her mother sprout up in her head as she pleaded through images within her head. The women tried to caress and calm her, cradle her. A little bit of time went by and then she saw a man come down the stairs looking quite disheveled.
Renesmee wondered slightly as she looked into his eyes only to see a sort of rage exploding from his soul. At the same time there was an odd look there, one of love. She was confused and wondered slightly about him. There was love there, from the both of them. Renesmee felt slightly better but still wanted her mother and father, her mother mostly. Three days passed and Renesmee grew around her new found family, the faces to the voices that spoke to her through the safety of her own little world. She understood then that she wasn’t like any other child. The family started inspecting her and weighing/measuring her every day. Then finally it was the third day and Renesmee found the face of her mother and it warmed her heart. She immediately felt love for her mother. Another few days went by and she grew closer to everyone and everything around her.
There was something there that had caught hold of her, that was love. The love that she felt from her family. Jacob was also very close to her. He played with her and Renesmee felt drawn to him in some way. Her father was also another one who she loves, his sweet melodies on the piano. Everyone in her family affects her. Grandpa Carlisle is another man whom Renesmee has fun with, when he is home. Grandma Esme is usually always there to take care of her when no one cannot. Auntie Alice is really fun as well, shes almost like a kid to Renesmee as well. Auntie Rosalie is like her second mother and took care of her most after she was born. Uncle Jasper and uncle Emmett are fun as well, uncle Emmett is hilarious and uncle Jasper plays along with her little plans. Overall at this point in time, Renesmee is hitched to her family and loves them as her most important thing in her life, which they most certainly are.
