Greetings everyone! I am very pleased to announce the creation of a new board. One that I have made painstaking efforts to bringing to life, and am looking forward to seeing its progression and development. I give you....Rise of The Unknowns!
Rise of The Unknowns is a Marvel/DC based environment, much like Comic Fun!, but with a significant difference: all of the major A and B list heroes and villains have been wiped out completely. That's right, no hiding, no phony resurrections, no alternate dimensions or other ways of bringing them back. All gone.
And if the question your asking is "But if all the popular and well known superheroes and villains are gone, who is left to play with?" Simple: EVERYONE ELSE! Most people do not seem to realize is that aside from heroes like Superman and Spider-man, as well as villains like Dr. Doom and the Joker, there are literally hundreds of cult favorites, one-time features, and 'oh that guy' characters in the universe.
To put it frankly, the C and D listers.
The people others gloss over, and never given a chance.
Well, here, they get their chance to shine. Cult favorites like Moon Knight and Booster Gold move to the limelight. Villains like Stilt-Man and Firefly are waiting to be big baddies. Virtual unknown heroes like Frog Man and Mongrel have the chance to do some real good. Hundreds of unique people just waiting to be discovered by navies and veteran comic book readers alike.
