History: Sam Kinison was a professional stand up comedian in the 1980's and early 1990's. Sam was 'killed' in a car crash while en-rout to Laughlin. What was not known to the public was that Sam, his Wife Melika, Sam's brother Bill Kinison and members of the Outlaws of Comedy Bill Hicks and Carl Labove were all turned into vampires and Sam faked his death as he needed to drop out of the public eye.
Sam, Melika, Bill and Carl went into hiding, parting ways with Hicks for a time, going to live in the deserts of Texas. Three years passed and Hicks faked his own death as well, finally 'giving up' the fight against cancer. He joined up with the group again and the five moved to Shreveport and began working for the local sheriff.
