The moon was high and brihgt, casting warm silvery shadows over the land. Sage had never really thought of them as warm before, always seeing the cool silver side. But she was here, in a place where voices whispered to her from every corner and the light of the moon felt warm. She was walking on two legs right now, slightly shifting so that just her eyes were those of a wolf. It gave her clear sight, letting her see every detail around her. Kings point was a beautiful place, and she could hear the small river nearby.
The woman sat down on the edge, staring out into the land beyond. She didn't know if this was the best time to be here, but it was better than being alone at home during the time she felt the most powerful. It was better than anything really. Too much time alone had let her become the way she was, and spending time around other wolves was the only way to fix that.
She sat down, closing her amber eyes and openeing her ears, slowly spreading her awareness around her. There were lines of power here, not leylines but close enough she could feel them humming. She could feel the power of the earth singing around her, and her face broke into an unconscious grin before melding back into a solid mask of serenity. She was talking to herself, her sister, and she knew the deep magicks she held were rooting her to the spot.
Slowly the power gathered, and an amber shape formed next to her. It was lupine, and looked as if it were a deep golden bronze fire flickering in the cool evening breeze. It was her Omega, taking a form of its own.
This is a calming place of calming magicks. I am glad you have come. It will be good for you. You need to learn to relax and open your eyes to see things you cannot see. The spirit of the wolf gave a toothy grin, looking at Sage with her head tilted. She resembled Sage in many ways, in scent and movement. But threr was something that was different. Just a feeling.
I know. I am healing, slowly but surely. It's only taken sixty or so years to start the healing process. I just wonder if some wounds are too deep to heal. She thought back. The wolf laughed.
No wounds are too deep to heal The firey bronze wolf got up and walked of, dissapearing like fog in the sun, leaving Sage with her own thoughts for the moment. She closed her eyes once more and just listened to the world around her, letting her senses take over.
