How did you find us? RPG Directory
First Name: Fox
Last Name: Mulder
Middle Name: William
Age: Thirty-Nine
Height/Weight: 6'0"/165 lbs.
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Brown
Character description/personality:
Mulder has a cynical sense of humor. He has no real social life outside of work because he is a workaholic and would rather be uncovering conspiracies and chasing monsters than hanging out with people doing something social with them. Mulder's very enthusiastic about his job. He loves anything and everything that deals with paranormal subjects, his interest stemming from his sister's abduction when he was twelve.
He's very protective and loyal to those he considers his friends, which are only a select few because his mantra is "trust no one." Mulder's pretty paranoid but he has a right to be like that, since he knows things that the general public has no idea about. He'll go to any length to find the answers that he's looking for, getting himself into many dangerous situations. Mulder's a risk taker. He loves baseball and sunflower seeds.
Persuasion: Good
Type of Creature: Human
Powers: None in the strictest sense of the word, so I'll list some of his strengths: intelligent, quick thinker, always right when it comes to driving, not prone to panic in tough situations
Weaknesses: Sunflower seeds, baseball, paranormal subjects, and, it has to be said, porn
History:
Fox Mulder was born on October 13, 1961 to William and Teena Mulder (Recently, he found out that William isn't his biological father; CGB Spender [a.k.a. the Cigarette Smoking Man] is). He had a younger sister named Samantha and a half-brother, Jeffrey Spender. When Mulder was twelve and Samantha eight, Samantha disappeared right in front of his eyes. She was abducted (by aliens, not humans...although the aliens were working with humans). Finding out what happened to Samantha became the focus of his life's work.
In 1983, Mulder entered Oxford University to study psychology. He joined the FBI in 1986, working for their Behavioral Science Unit. In 1991, Mulder reopened the X-Files with Agent Diana Fowley. An X-File is simply a case that has been deemed unsolvable by the FBI. Diana didn't stick along though, and in 1992, Agent Dana Scully was assigned to work with him...or more like spy on him and debunk all of his work with he strict rationality and belief that science would be able to explain the cases.
He spent the next eight years of his life trying to find his sister and uncover a government conspiracy to keep the existence of extraterrestrials hidden from the public. He was able to successfully accomplish the first task...He didn't find Samantha but he did find out what happened to her. After her abduction, when she was returned to Earth, she lived with the Cigarette Smoking Man (CSM) and her half-brother, Jeffrey, on a military base, where CSM continued performing tests on her. She ran away one night and was taken by some kind strangers to a hospital. CSM found out and came the next night to take her back. But when the nurse took him to her room, she was gone. She was taken by beings called Walk-Ins that take children who are going to die terrible deaths away into the starlight so they don't have to suffer their horrible fates.
That was only half of what he hoped to accomplish by working on the X-Files. There's still his father and the other conspiracy members to deal with. (Note: I'm ending his history right after he found out what happened to Samantha in season seven so characters like Krycek and CSM are still alive and well...That doesn't mean though that you can't find ways to work people like Doggett and Reyes into things...and feel free to bring back dead characters too. I left them out of his history so you could do just that!)
