the world of the Vampire Diaries, where two brothers frozen in time will change the course of history for all eternity, and one girl stands between them. Where the stories of the past are real and the lines between reality and dream are blurred. Old acquaintances are making their return to the old town, and new faces are showing their true natures. Trust is a commodity, and the net is closing in to reveal the identity of the traitors. It’s not only the living that has secrets to tell. How far would you go to save the one you love, and how far would you allow them to go in return? How do you decide between good and evil, when both are concealed from you?

Connected by Blood starts at the very beginning of the Vampire Diaries Series. It is very loosely based on the books, with emphasis and most of the characters from the television series. We want to make up our own story with the characters created by L.J Smith Elena has just moved in with her aunt after the death of her parents, and she has just met Stefan and Damon. A new school year has started, and Bonnie is just discovering her powers that go with her ancestors, the Witches. Damon is trying to find Katherine, but had become infatuated with Elena. Stefan is deeply in love with Elena. Most of the town doesn’t know of the vampire species, and all the deaths are being blamed on animal attacks. Only a select few know the truth, and are trying to stop it. Katherine is assumed to be sealed in the old tomb in Fell’s Church, and Annabelle wants to get back her mother, Pearl. Their slates are wiped clean, their futures completely blank.
