Here's where we can list books, authors, or series we're hooked on, and suggested reads for other members. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton The Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton Nightseer by Laurell K. Hamilton The Hollows series by Kim Harrison The Lord of the Ring Trilogy, The Hobbit, and The Similirion (sp?) by J.R.R. Tolkien A couple more authors I love dearly are Tanya Huff, P.C. Hogell, and Marian Zimmber Bradley. That's just a few of my faves, and what I could think of right off hand. ~Vi

Duh! How could I forget? Shame on me!
The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice The Mayfair Witch Saga by Anne Rice
and her later works with the Vampire Chrons, such as Blood & Gold, Pandora, Armand.... Not to mention the combined works, Merrick, Blackwood Farm, that blend both series' together.
Pretty much any Anne Rice until she became overly devout and religious.

The Big Over Easy & The Fourth Bear, both by Jasper Fforde. Mixing Nursery Rhyme characters, Fairy Tale charactes and police drama in possibly the two most hysterical yet smart books I've ever read

Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series And Jeanne C. Stein's Anna Strong series Both worth it! OH! And L.A. Banks, another good author. Don't forget to check out the Macabre Library for some of these authors and more to come. *Major thanks to Buffy for setting us up with a kick ass library!*
