Okay, so obviously there's a buttload of characters in the Daze, and they're all different and have histories and all that junk. So we tend to find ourselves often referring to, or playing, NPCs.
What's an NPC? That would be a Non-Player Character. Someone who you can play with and manipulate through your character, but isn't an actual player character on the boards. They could be family, friends, work associates, anyone who isn't already represented by an actual player.
Eg: I heard Paulie yell at me, "Get your ass in the car!", so I tripped the sucker up, and laughed as his face landed in a mudpile.
Paulie is the NPC.
You can do whatever you want to a random nameless NPC basically, as long as they aren't based on an actual player's character.
Why have an NPC library? So that we know about the people that could be used, or who might be involved with another player if we roleplay with that person. For instance, someone might make up a person who works at a particular venue. For example, maybe I decide to make up the name of a bartender or waitress at Dee'Anu's night club. Now, if I'm on my Dee account, I can name them, give them a short history, current dated info, and that person will be an NPC that can be found at Unbridled Passions by people.
What the library does is basically says that a regular at Unbridled Passions might know that particular NPC or something. Though, because Dee was the creator of said person, you would still need to run it by her (me) if you wanted to do something like maim or hurt them. It protects the named NPCs who we can't be bothered creating as accounts pretty much.
Now that you pretty much get the drift, if any of your characters have regular NPCs that they refer to or use, then drop the list here so we all know. ^^

And that's about all we need for an NPC... enjoy! ^^
