(Prepare for a read... I tend to go into detail and babble on a bit.)

Height/Weight: 5’2, 103 lbs
Eyes: Her natural eye color is rings of violet, fuchsia, and gold… but with glamour, she makes them look a honey brown color.
Hair: Dark, but glimmers with honeyed highlights.
Character description:
As a daughter of pure sidhe blood (even if it is mixed clans), Dee-Anu is truly immortal. She is a woman of comparable inhuman beauty, though doesn’t often flaunt it, preferring to make herself look more plain using glamour. She is a solitary type, most of the time, only going out on occasion if she requires life energy. She is a siren, a muse, due to her Leanan blood she can inspire hearts and passion, usually taking preturnatural lovers as she has had a couple of bad experiences with humans.
Though she has no want for money or anything else as she has a very large inheritance from her deceased mother, she still wanted to do something. She is an international undercover investigator of supernatural mysteries and occurrences, working freelance for a number of world organizations which makes it hard to ever tell whose side she’s ever actually on. One thing is for certain, even though she is also a professional assassin, she still holds morals and standards, and won’t do anything that would jeopardize her integrity or values.
Short and slim, she is agile and skilled in a number of martial arts, including ninjutsu, judo, tai chi, and is an accomplished swordswoman. She was also a ballerina and performer for a couple of decades, making her not only hard to read or detect, but quite deadly. Like all pure fey though, she is highly allergic to iron.
When using glamour, her standard appearance is a small young porcelain doll of a woman with dark hair and dark honey eyes. When she is not using glamour, her hair is still dark, but glistens with honey and gold, and her eyes are rings of violet, fuchsia, and gold.
When she’s not working, Dee-Anu is generally doing what she loves best, singing (solo with either an acoustic guitar or piano), or training/hanging out with her ‘sister’ Elizabeth. Her secondary profession is as a private tutor.
Despite her sometimes cold demeanor and her dark urges, Dee-Anu is actually a caring woman, part of the reason she refuses to claim a significant other. There is a dark history to her blood, one which keeps her from allowing herself to fall in love, despite the number of hearts she captures. Sometimes she is mistaken for being a vampire because of the vampiric nature of the Leanan blood, but it doesn’t take long to see that she’s quite different (although it has been known that the consumption of blood can help Leanan gain power, Dee'Anu has not tested this theory).
Dee-Anu didn’t belong to any of the sidhe courts until it was dicovered she is the granddaughter of Andais, having spent a lot of her time either in solitude, or among humans, she easily passes as just another human by anyone who isn’t looking properly.
For a time she became quite blood-thirsty, but has (since some incidents) become level-headed again. She doesn't like the idea of having to become a 'baby-making-machine' for her grandmother, and is trying to find a way out of it. She cares for Connor and Clio-Angel, though they get on her nerves when they're a bit reckless, and she's trying to learn how to let more people get close with the help of her new friend Aleria.

Powers:
Telepathy – Dee-Anu is able to speak to someone through thoughts and they can speak back to her in the same fashion once the link has been opened. She cannot enter a person's mind completely hower. She is a touch-clairvoyant, able to achieve visions through physical touch, though only if the person is in an emotional state of some kind. [draining]
Glamour – Like more fey, she is strong in glamour, so much so that she can not only change her whole look, but hide her very presence if need be. This is interrupted is she is touched or if someone sees her with ‘true sight’. [draining]
Teleportation - Since her time in the Underhill, Dee has come back with the ability to teleport from one place to another, it is one of a few things she learned in the old Faerie mound.
Invoking inspiration/lust/love – Through her blood, Dee-Anu has a natural charm about her, people find her irresistible, especially if she puts a little energy into it. She has an air of confidence about her that only helps her. If she chooses, she can compel someone to become enchanted by her, either suddenly becoming inspired to do something artistic, or by entering a state of lust, though she has never gone so far to make them fall completely in love. This is because she is afraid it may backfire and she would find herself falling for love’s desire, something she’s afraid of. [draining/energizing]
Voice of an Angel, Power of a Siren - Dee'Anu is a dark muse, her voice is hypnotic even without any magic in it and will silence a room to listen to her. If she puts magic into her singing, she can manipulate people, their bodies, minds, souls. The level control depends on how much energy she puts into the magic, but she could stop a person's heart, or erase memories if she had to. She can make an entire room, men and women, fall for her charm through song if she chose. [draining/energizing]
Healing – She cannot heal wounds per say, but can offer energy to a person to boost their own natural healing. This uses a lot of energy and leaves her feeling weakened until she rests or feeds from life energy. [very draining]
Feeding from life energy – Some of her powers cause her to become slightly drained of energy, and sometimes she will need to recharge. One way to do this is to find an open place surrounded by nature and feed from the earth’s energy. Another method is to find a nightclub or place where people are happy and excited and feed from the energy in the air. But due to the Leanan blood, the most effective method of feeding is through sexual energy, which is why she generally chooses preternatural lovers, as they have lots of life energy to spare. She can even feed through a simple kiss. (There is another theory that she could consume blood in order to gain power, but she has not put this to the test.) [energizing]
Hand of Blood Aura – First hand of power – Dee-Anu can manipulate someone’s aura in order to draw blood. She doesn’t physically have to touch them; only disturb their aura around them. She can also compress the aura in order to suffocate or crush them. [unseelie – draining]
Hand of Mortality – Second hand of power – Also known as the ‘Kiss of True Death’, Dee-Anu can pull the entire life from a person, mortal or immortal, leaving them as nothing but a shell. Its not a power she enjoys using, as she also absorbs memories of the person, and becomes breathless herself and can pass out if she’s not careful. On a strange upside, she is able to use the life from that being, in order to restore life to or heal another. It would seem another secondary twist is anyone who she revives in this way will become immortal. [mixture of unseelie and Leanan - draining]
History:
Dee-Anu’s mother was a proud Leanan Sidhe whose gifts were challenged by another who said that she couldn’t possibly have enough power to be able to seduce a Noble of one of the courts into breaking their oath. Taking up the challenge, she went about secretly calling the attention of one said nobles (whose name has never been divulged, not even to Dee-Anu) and succeeded, then disappeared into the night as he slept. Some time later, she discovered she was pregnant, and knowing the significance and rarity of pure Sidhe births knew she should have come upfront to the father and his Queen about what she’d done. But she also held no allegiance to either of the courts as the Faerie Sweethearts don’t understand the obvious discrimination they show toward those who are different and she decided she wouldn’t subject her child to it. So she took her daughter and lived on the move.
So Dee-Anu grew up with her mother as they traveled, passing as normal humans in a happily carefree life as mother and daughter. However, the signs began to show on her mother. She’d used her charms on the sidhe noble, but it had backfired because she’d fallen for him as well and was now suffering a broken heart and homesickness for her fey family. Dee-Anu didn’t quite understand it, having grown up outside the courts and Faerie Mounds, but all she knew was that her mother was suffering from a sickness to do with love. Eventually she faded and a young Faerie was on her own in the world, though not wanting for anything as her mother had been a wealthy woman and left her quite a large sum to sustain herself.
The young woman still wanted to do something with her life though, and given her natural agility and charisma, and the fact that she had studied a number of martial arts, she decided she would become a freelance spy. It didn’t take much convincing to work her way into the business with small jobs, and even less time before people started seeing results. She gained a reputation in the underworld and throughout world government agencies and was soon sought after. She also proved herself adept at making sure that certain especially bad criminals conveniently ‘disappeared’. It was easy to use her lure, charm and influence to get close to her targets and remove them from the picture without leaving a trace.
A few years later and she had made very influential contacts around the world, had more money than she could stab a mansion at, and had begun a romantic relationship with a fellow spy. It was the first time she’d ever slept with a human (with anyone actually), almost accidentally draining him their first night together. It had been her first experience with a man, and one she didn’t forget for a long time. It was another five years before she became involved with a vampire while she was on a mission. Relieved that she didn’t drain him so much, and finding herself more than fully energized, she then kept to preternatural bed partners.
After a few more decades, Dee-Anu was on a particular mission to investigate the murders of young girls around the world, discovering that they happened to be potential Slayers. Seeking the assistance of an old wiccan client of hers, she was given an incantation to assist in locating any others who were in danger. That was when she located Elizabeth and saved her from one of the creatures hunting potentials. Unfortunately, she hadn’t arrived soon enough to save the thirteen year old’s father who’d tried to fight off the beast himself. Knowing the girl wouldn’t be safe on her own, Dee-Anu took the girl with her back to her warded chateau, where none of the creatures could get to her, while Dee-Anu healed from an iron wound inflicted in the battle.
Keeping in contact with the case, she was glad to hear the other potentials were being located, and she kept Elizabeth with her, training the young girl in martial arts and blade handling while also tutoring her and keeping her up with studies. Many months later something occurred and Elizabeth was gifted with the power and strength of a Slayer, which by then only enhanced her skills she’d learned from Dee-Anu.
Though the girl was capable of defending herself now, and should have been assigned a Watcher, Dee-Anu had grown attached, considering the girl to be almost like a younger sister, and so she sought permission to be her official Guardian. Granted permission, she then filed to become her legal guardian and they then traveled together. As Dee-Anu has a certificate in teaching, she acts as Elizabeth’s guardian, teacher and mentor, as well as older sister.
Dee-Anu usually tries to throw herself into her work when she becomes restless, but even she has her off times when there is just nothing to do. She generally tries to avoid most men unless she’s working or requires energy, but never takes them home. She has yet to meet anyone who actually captures her personally, but is hoping she doesn’t, since she doesn’t want to end up like her mother. It is the only influence she’s ever had in regards to love, and it scared the hell out of her.
After arriving in LA, Dee'Anu was found by the Queen of the Unseelie and summoned to the Court where it was discovered that her father was actually Prince Cel, Queen Andais' own son. She was then told that she would take his place in the race against Merry to get the throne, something Dee is completely uninterested in.
Her mind was taken off this for a short while when she met up with Angelus and they struck up a physical relationship, while also killing off a pack of demons which were angry with Dee for a job she'd done. Deciding she needed to get away from everything, Dee left for Ireland, where Angelus found her again, this time requesting she bring his son Connor back to life from a pile of ashes. With a promise that he would 'owe' her, she did and Connor was reborn with some of her own blood inside him too.
During this time, an entity which had manifested from the battle with the demons decided it wanted to be given life and so Dee'Anu and Angelus were driven to sleep together again, though both against it, and hence Cliodhna was conceived. Dee promptly expelled Angelus from her castle and retreated into the Underhill, with the help of Connor, where she gave birth to her daughter and where time passed much differently to the outside world. When they returned, only a week had passed, compared to their years. And she was exhausted and had lost her passion for life.
On the brink of fading, she was visited by Aleria, a Seelie fey who'd been born a witch, and through talking to the other woman, that she really was quite a lonesome person, afraid to let anyone close. She's still unsure of it all, but will continue fighting because its what she does.
