Character description: Spending over a decade living in hell (oh no, she’s not dead), can do some strange things to a person. However Lily adjusted quickly, and became a hardened woman for it. There is little that will phase her, she’s seen it all, and done some too. There are a number of sides to her, like there is with anyone: the nurturing earth mother who cares for the dragons she tends to; the sarcastic bitch who would be just as likely to turn someone’s insides out as to argue with them; and the casual fun (yet authoritarian when need be) sister of Violet (as well as a hell lord in her own right).
Lily’s moods are temperamental though, it can be difficult from one moment to the next what she will be like, though that is probably a part of carrying two dragon spirits inside her as well as being the daughter of a celestial dragon and the devil.
Persuasion: (good evil neutral) Depends on her mood really, well behaved generally speaking unless she’s having a bad day.

Powers:
Lily has the normal powers granted to born witches (at least it was assumed she was a witch), the gift of spell weaving, telepathy, and some precognition, she also has a curse/gift called ‘The Sight’ which she was bound with when experimenting with spells years ago, in which no illusion or door between worlds is hidden from her. She can see into other realms, and pass into them if they invite her. Under the tutelage of Violet, Lily's own powers have manifested and she has learned more than even the eldest witches could ever hope for. She is constantly connected to the ether and viels between realms.
Lily has dragon gifts as well, granted to her as a result of her being combined with a Helldragon spirit (courtesy of Miss V) which also awoke her own true dragon blood. She is a Dragon Mistress, she can summon dragons to her side and they cannot refuse her call or her will. She also has control over elements and has ‘dragon breath’, in that she can breathe fire or ice (fire being her preference). She is also resistant to elemental and psychic attacks, and often finds pleasure in walking through lava pits and walls of fire just for the hell of it.
Since dragons are immortal beings, she stopped again when she was in her early twenties - the blood of her true parents showing through before it was even realised what she truly was.
Thanks to Dazx, Lily has access to gleaning past or present events that take place as though she is there herself. 'The Sight' has become more powerful due to her dragon counterparts also.
Dazx can separate herself from Lily's body if needed, but will never leave her completely. And Lily is able to shift into both a beautiful magenta dragon and also into a half-draconic form like her mother Violet.
Whilst Lily is too smart to ever become smug about her power, Violet herself has said that her sister (who she raised as a daughter) is almost as powerful as her.
History:
Lailene’s childhood was spent growing up in France with her parents, Mark and Chandra Young, and her younger sister Kaya. Their lives were reasonably quiet and peaceful, and being born witches, the two girls were as close as they could be, despite a four year age difference. They were stuck to one another like glue, and Lailene always took good care of her little sister and often told her stories about other worlds and being whisked away on adventures.
However Lailene was overly curious when it came to spells and magic and sometimes late at night when everyone else was sleeping, she would sneak out and learn about spells of traveling to other worlds and realms, places where mortals generally didn’t belong. It was through this experimentation that she accidentally gave herself ‘The Sight’, and suddenly she began seeing doorways to other realms and things that young girls should not be privy to.
As is with those who dwell in the ‘other’ realms, anything out of place became a point of entertainment, her curiosity had been noticed, and the fascination with her ability to see those which should not be seen led to her eventual disappearance at nine years of age.
It was during the early spring thaw when she was playing alongside the rapids that flowed high in the river due to the snow melting and rain from the night before. Kaya was farther from the bank than Lailene, calling for her to return, but something had caught the older sister’s attention. To her eyes, there was something burning inside the water. Leaning over for closer inspection, a claw reached up and pulled her down into the flooded river. Only Lailene never drowned, instead she was pulled through the doorway to Hell.
It was here she was met with a Helldragon who’d been watching the young girl for quite a while, and Violet Violence, who also seemed to have taken in interest in Lailene. And so the girl became the Helldragon’s keeper and Violet’s pet, not allowed to return to the mortal realm for at least thirteen years, due to the fact that she saw and knew too much and young girls couldn’t always be trusted to keep their mouths shut.
Her name was changed to Lily and she resided in Hell, slowly changing within her self as the realm permitted. Her hair formed fiery magenta highlights and her eyes became a similar color. Over the years she grew accustomed to the general rituals that went on, and the comings and goings of souls. Eventually she grew a taste for similar pleasures as the others who resided here, and her seemingly natural attunement with dragons kept the Lords happy, as the beasts stopped hassling them while she was around. She was given the title Lady of the Dragons and enjoyed her life enough being Violet’s daughter, and the dragon keeper.
Thirteen years after her arrival and she could still see doors and portals to other realms, even in Hell. It was through one of these she found her sister Kaya, who seemed distressed and had carried the guilt of the loss of her older sister for so many years. While hesitant to move from Hell (it had become her home afterall), Lily requests that she at least be granted access to the outside realms at her own whim.
Upon being given the freedom to leave, the Helldragon refused to leave her side and so she was merged with him, along with a spectral dragon Dazx.
Then one night while resting in her own Dragon Realm, Lily was visited by a vision of her true history. She was actually the daughter of a celestial dragon whome the Devil in one of his guises had seduced. Once the baby had been born she'd been placed in a frozen stasis for a number of millenia until the time was right, and then replaced the still-born true daughter of the Youngs. The discovery left her shocked, however her kinship with Violet has only grown with the knowledge and she remains at her sister's right hand side.
