"No I won't dear. This kid sleeps through everything" An older male's voice cooed as he stalked over to the sleeping toodler's cot.
"You honestly think this is a good idea?" The female asked back in return.
The male angerly pushed a few items off a small table. "Of course I think it's a good idea. His a human, a mortal. You honestly think I'd let him walk out like that? I'd rather kill the kid!"
The female gasped, "You wouldn't dare hurt my baby!"
"Your baby?" The male gave off a smirk. "Marly, this baby is mine as well" He looked at the needle he held in his left hand. "And this serum will change everything, He'll be normal Marly. Can't you understand that?"
"I don't want to understand that Daniel. This is a disease. I don't want my son to grow up with this disease. Daniel, please put the needle down"
"Da- Da...Da Da" A small voice croaked, as both adults looked over at the wooden cot where a small baby stood, grasping the rails for support. "Da Da" He croaked again with a small smile.
Daniel looked down, "Oh, Theodore..." He whispered as he took a few steps closer to the wooden cot which caged the 2yr old. "I'm so sorry, but this is for the best"
Theodore started crying, as he soon fell backwards.
"DANIEL! Why?" Marly cried as she ran to her son's bedside.
A smirk lay on Daniel's face. "Oh come now Marly. He'll survive. You did, didn't you?" He laughed. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" He cooed to Marly as she simply glared at him.

"Oi kid. Wake up!" Beamed an officer, poking the small figure with his baton. "You can't just sleep out in the gutter" He poked again as Theodore stirred.
"Oh, Sorry" Theodore shook his head and gave a small stretch. His brown shaggy hair fell over his deep brown eyes, "I'll find an alley..." He then said, standing up.
The officer looked down, "Listen, here's about 30 bucks. Try get some food."
"Why give me money when I can just hunt for my food you fool" Theodore muttered under his breath as he stalked away into the darkness of a nearby alleyway.
