Name: Willow Danielle Rosenberg
Age: 27
Looks: 5’8” in height, about 125lb. Willow's athletic frame is offset by her green eyes and mahogany red colored hair. Her hair has shifted from many shades of red and at one time phasing to jet black.
Type of Creature: Witch/Wiccan
History: Willow was born in Sunnydale to Shelia and Ira Rosenberg in the year of 1981.
Growing up, Willow's best friend was Xander Harris and later in her high school years became close to Buffy Summers. Her educational track record was unblemished due to her high intelligence. Upon her vast knowledge in computer science, she had been recruited by the largest software company in America while still in high school.
Her dating record began with Xander Harris, at age five, moving on to Thomas (a vampire), Malcolm (met on the internet-a robot), Daniel Osbourne (Oz), Tara Maclay, and Kennedy (Slayer Potential).
Willow's growing interest in witchcraft began with Jenny Calendar, as she searched through her old files. Thus, causing a growing interest in the world of magic. Upon Jenny's death, she seriously dove into the world of Wicca. During the course of this time, she had been dating Oz. Through Oz's werewolf transformations, the teen realized that Willow was the possible cause for his off-beat werewolf tendencies.
In order to salvage his own sanity, as well as everyone's safety and well-being, Oz said goodbye to Willow and left town.
Upon graduating from Sunnydale High, Willow had been accepted to such accredited schools as Yale, but turned them down to pursue her education at UC in order to be with the Scooby Gang. During the course of her schooling, she met new love interest, Tara Maclay, who coincidentally enough attended the same Wicca group.
As the wiccan's use of magic became overpowering, leading Willow to darker paths, she began dangerously overusing her power. Due to her neglectful acts, Tara had become tired of her girlfriend's behavior, leaving Willow behind.
As the fates would have it, Tara eventually forgave, an "I promise to stop using magic", Willow. Shortly after the reunion, Warren decided to have his revenge on the slayer, missing and instead taking the life of Willow's beloved Tara. Through a fit of rage and despair, the pagan's dark side in magic was released. This course of action drove Willow to the horrendous murder of Warren and the near fate of the world. Through Xander's love and friendship, Willow saw the error of what she had done and planned to do.
Giles approached the grief-stricken Willow, offering her advice to head for England to cleanse herself of what she had done. The female learned to control her magic powers through the help of a witch coven.
Willow returned to Sunnydale fearful of how her friends would now think of her, she refrained from any magic usage. All in fear of succumbing to the powers of black magic once again.
Learning to cope with the passing of Tara, Willow became comfortable enough to dabble back into the lighter side of magic, and finding a new girlfriend, Kennedy, a potential slayer.
As the world had been plunged into confrontation with an army of Turok-Hans, Willow's role in the grand scheme of things broadened. Through the weapon that held the essence of the slayer abilities, she endowed every potential slayer with the ability and power of a slayer.
Willow's demeanor is set more to a demure tone than most of those around her. At first being timid, she broke out of her shell the more she spent time with Buffy. Willow aides to the help of her friends, at times with a bit of reluctancy, but caring deeply for them, throws herself into the fray every time. Her magicks aid her in that as well.
When using black magic, Willow's demeanor changes. Not that she becomes more distant, but her affectionate side fleets away leaving a bitter and self-concerned woman. Her wanting of what she thinks to be right versus that which is known to be right, leaves her with eternal conflicts.
Special Weaknesses: Black Magic's principle is to expect miracles from external and superior entities that feed from the humiliation from those who voluntarily make sacrifices to them. The disciple of Black Magic does evil with the hope that some good will emerge out of it through miraculous violation of the laws of nature. Black Magic prays upon the weak and offers them an easy access to satisfying their desires. Once an individual begins to use black magic extensively they become addicted. What many fail to realize is that there's always a price to pay when dealing out black magic, it often returning three fold.
Temptation into Black Magic concentrates around the elusiveness that magic can make everyday tasks easily accomplished. For instance when Anya and Xander announced their engagement, instead of going to the store for decorations and typical party items, Willow used her magic power to compensate instead.
Other temptation factors are the domination over other life forms, taking judgment into your own hands. As well as the power aspect which lures people into using black magic more often without considering the consequences.
