Crystal was sitting in the pond, not exackly, she had half of her body in it, and the other half of her body was out, she kinda looked like a mermaid but she wasn't she was a slayer/witch. It was night, she was in danger from anything that did go bump in the night but of course she felt a little bit lazy today so...she just sat there.

The hospital had gotten to her, the flashes of lights, the beeping of the machines. Not knowing if her parents were going to wake up from their coma. It was hard for her to realize that her parents might never wake, so she opted to go out for some fresh air and take a trip to the pond. It would get her mind off things and maybe she could grab a few hours sleep while she was at it. After the accident, Alison rarely got any sleep, it was more flashes of lights, more beeping sounds and voices. Rubbing her arms, Alison took off to the pond in a small jog, her feet hitting the pavement. When she reached the pond, her senses went off, sending messages to her brain. She had to stop and rub her head, wondering what was going on. She could not ask her parents, they were not up to answering anything. And she doubted anyone else would believe her about her weird senses.
Following her senses, Alison kept moving until she saw someone half sitting in the pond. Okay, strange, Alison thought, moving closer still. She didn't say a word just yet, no that would wait until she deemed the woman not a threat. As she looked at the woman, part of her was afraid. It was as if this woman actually was a threat to her. It seemed silly, but the feeling was deeply embedded in the pit of her stomach and wouldn't go away. It seemed like time would tell if the woman would hurt her.

Crystal turned. She sensed someone else, it was her half witch half slayer senses kicking in of course. "Who is it?" she asked as she looked around calmly. She didn't think the other person was a threat, if they were, her sense would be telling her but she felt no threats to her life and there was no one else around her so she was off her guard of course if her watcher found this out, this would be another reason for her to be dead. Than she said. "look I know you're here, I'm not gonna hurt you, personally I'm not in a mood to, I just wanna know..."

Nyx had chosen this night to change, it wasn't that she wanted to but with the moon full the transformation came easy and well ... she didn't want the beast to reach beyond the point of being uncontrolled. People got hurt then, not that she cared, but it often left a mess.
Her milky white fur dried slowly as she stalked the darkened forest, her senses on fire with the noises, the smells, the tastes, and the feel of the soft earth beneathe her padded feet. It all felt so natural to her.
Hunger burned deep within and for awhile she searched quietly for food before coming across a pond.
A voice brought Nyx to cling to the shadow, it belonged to a woman in the pond. There was another, Nyx could taste her scent on the breeze, however she was hidden.
Seeing that so far there was no reason to feel threatened she came close to the water's edge and lapped up the cool liquid. Her eyes were closed as she drank but that didn't mean she was not still wary of the others, her excellent hearing focused on them both and if for any reason they came closer to her she'd know.

If the woman turned, she would easily see Alison standing there. Ignoring the urge to roll her eyes and reply with something mean, Alison walked closer still before speaking herself. "I'm right here. If you would look, you would see." Alison took a deep breathe. "I'm not saying my name. My mother told me never to talk to strangers." Her voice broke at the mention of her mother, and she quickly sat down in the dirt. She was supposed to not be thinking about her parents, but it was coming back to haunt her with each step. If they died, or stayed in their coma, what would happen to her? And what was worse, she still didn't know what she really was. Poor child. And you thought your child had issues. Well, this child was about to have alot more than she ever thought, and not all of it would be good.
A wolf. Alison thought, and sure enough a wolf had walked to the waters edge and began drinking. How she knew, she had no idea. Thankfully this would be only the one time her clairvoyance would work until later. She didn't say what was on her mind, instead, she let her fingers grab the grass. The wolf, nor the woman, seemed like a threat, which was good. The woman said she wasn't going to hurt Alison which gave her karma points, but she was still wary. Oh yes, very wary. Since she was a vampire/demon hybrid, her side normally didn't get along with Slayers, or others that hunted demons and vampires alike.

"ok, I know what you are, and if you're worried about being killed...don't I havent slayed jack shit since my watcher died, which was...I don't know how long ago now I've lost count, I won't hurt you, I JUST want company..." sensing someone else, she turned. "oh great a werewolf..." she muttered but she really didn't mind it.
As Crystal sat there, she felt a whoosh of wind as she felt a spirit. "ok...NOW its getting weird" she knew all magical creatures could see the spirit, she also knew the spirit first hand. It was her fallen watcher. "Helena" she choked.
The spirit looked around, she saw Allison but said nothing, turning her gaze back to Crystal she said. "a fine night to be on your own...and I use that term very loosely"
the woman had a british accent as she sort of glided towards her former slayer.

Nyx finished her drink and sat, watching the others watch her. There was nothing threatening about them, no reason to worry if she turned her back on them. It was a disappointment, not that Nyx always went in search of a fight but her beast never denied the oppertunity to shed blood.
The woman in the pond certainly did nothing to put aside this desire by asserting her comment. Nyx folded her ears back, a low growl emitting from her throat as if to say "Watch it, buddy". The presence of the spirit made the hairs on the back of her neck stand straight, and without hesitance she backed away from the pond with her tail tucked between her legs.

Helena shook her head disapprovingly. "You SHOULD conteanue your studies just because I've died dosn't mean you should forget all I've taught you...I don't have a lot of time, I just wanted to tell you" she said as she looked at the slayer. She than evaperated into nothingness.
Crystal sat there staring at where her watcher had been just minutes before. She started to cry. She knew her watcher couldn't stay for long but is that all she could've said? couldn't she have said something like, oh she was proud of her, she missed her? she didnt know why it hurt her so much now, it had never hurt her so much before. Her watcher had always been loving bust distant and harsh all the same.

The spirit disappeared and Nyx watched as the woman in the pond began to cry. She hesitated, never having been the type to really be able to console anyone but somewhere deep within she felt empathy for the woman.
She stalked to the edge closest to the woman and sat with her tail curled around her feet. A soft whimper left her as she tilted her head, trying to comprehend these feelings.

"H...Hey" Crystal said wiping the tears from her eyes. She looked at the girl and murmered. "I...sensed you but, didn't see you...wassup?" she asked as she looked at her. She tried to stay strong, thats what she had been taught but again, being taught and actually doing it was two different things. She wished she wasn't so much of an emotional wreck, oh well.
