Looks: Tall and thin/athletic build. Med length black hair and pale complexion. Tends toward gothic/vampire attire.
Type of Creature: Living Vampire
History: Ivy Tamwood is much more than just her blood type. She is a woman on a mission to save her soul. Her roommate and lover Kisten knows her better than anyone, but being a living vampire is not easy in The Hollows. Being a living vampire investigating a string of murders while caught between the vamp she loves and the vamp she craves just means she’ll have to make some changes.
The living vampire Ivy Tamwood, was working the homicide division of Inderland Security, before she got a transfer and met Rachel Morgan. (For those not up on the series: Inderland Security equals FBI, only for supernaturals, which are mostly out in the public.) As Ivy investigates a string of nasty murders, she finds herself torn between the dangerous attractions of two very different vampires. One, Kisten, is just a friend of sorts. The other, Art, is her superior at work. If Ivy remains true to herself and her morals, she risks defying Art, who holds the power of life, death, and promotion above her. If she gives in... well, Ivy Tamwood doesn't like to surrender to anyone. But will these distractions ruin her chance at finding a killer? One thing's for certain: her career will never be the same again.
Ivy worked with Rachel Morgan at the I.S. and followed her into freelance work, they now run Vampiric Charms with their partner Jenks, a pixie. Tamwood struggles with her vampiric nature on a personal level, as well as attempting to keep Rachel from being attacked by fellow vampires. She harbors a deep longing and affection for Rachel. It is unknown what her wish was used for, although Rachel does note that it was used.
