History: During the plague in New Orleans, Claudia was sired by Louis de Pointe du Lac. He had been wandering in his despair and found her clinging to her dead mother. She thought him an angel come to save them, and begged he wake her Momma. She clung to him, and in his misery he fed upon her, only to be discovered by Lestat. Lestat taunted Louis, making him run from the house, leaving Claudia to die.
In order to keep Louis with him, Lestat brought Claudia to their home. He sought out Louis in the sewers and confessed having a gift for him. Louis went with Lestat to find the child, Claudia, whom he thought he killed. Louis watched as Lestat gave her immortality.
The three of them spent near 30 years together, both Fathers lavishing affection and gifts upon Claudia. She soon tired of life with Lestat, seeking a way for her and Louis to be rid of him and his ways. Without telling Louis of her plan she attempted to kill Lestat in a guise of making peace with him. She brought him twins, which she had poisoned and killed. He drank the blood of the dead children, and realizing so thought Claudia had killed them accidentally. She confessed to the travesty, and as he called to be put into his coffin she leapt on him and slit his throat. Thinking Lestat dead, she and Louis dumped him in the swamp.
Not long before the pair were planning to leave to Paris, Lestat came back to them, and they set the house on fire to escape him & his wrath. In Paris, they found the Theatre Des Vampires, and Claudia convinced Louis to sire Madeleine as a companion for her since she saw him leaving her for Armand. Louis consented and gave Claudia this gift, but as Madeleine crossed over into immortality the Theatre came and took the 3 of them away. Claudia and Madeleine were tossed into a well to burn in the rays of the sun, while Louis was trapped in an iron coffin, and buried within a wall. Armand saved Louis, but it was too late for Claudia & Madeleine. They had already burned.
Some years later, after brief appearances to a select few, Claudia’s spirit was raised by Merrick Mayfair. Louis had enticed David to speak with Merrick about it. Claudia was reached, and furious for it, lashing out at all three of them. Louis tried to end his life after siring Merrick, but was saved by her, Lestat and David. Claudia spent time dwelling near the veil between the worlds, watching and waiting. When Merrick immolated herself along with Goblin, Quinn’s twin, Claudia chose that moment to break through the veil and returned to life. Or…Unlife. She now seeks Lestat and Louis, wanting things to be as they were and to make amends for her rashness and temper.
