She walked, her steps were slow and her black hair fell over her shoulders, her eyes were glued to the path in front of her, it wound around a pond, its surface still and black in the night. Kira looked at it, as if entanced by the glare that the full moon gave off it. A smile tainted her sullen lips, her eyes practically sighed. Though no sound escaped her mouth. There was no breeze in the air, or if there was it was too slight to be felt and recognised, the air was warm, and yet her skin was still like ice to touch. Her dark brown eyes wandered over bushes and trees in the darkness. She had been trying to deny her thirst for weeks now, once or twice it had almost overcome her, but in the three years of her being a vampire she had tried to instruct herself to feed only when she needed to, not when she wanted to.
The grass moved slightly as she sat by the pond, her eyes staring deeply beneath its surface, but not really seeing anything, her vision was obscured slightly by the perfect control she kept over her mind. For her there could be nothing more painful than two things, loosing her self control, and falling in love. She had never been confrontational, she usually shied away from fights of any kind. Or if that was unavoidable she would submit to the persons will, whatever it happened to be.

With her enhanced senses she heard the motorbike long before it got in range for human ears. Her head turned sharply towards where it was coming from, the swift movement causing her black hair to stir momentarily. She saw the light bounce hither and there, the uneven road was plainly making this journey quite difficult for the rider. The sound was almost like an explosion in her ears, the distant thunder coming ever closer, and ever louder. A screech made Kira observe closer, her eyes seeing the slight sparks as the brakes were hit, he rbody tensed, she saw what was happeneing the girl was going to fall off, and there was nothing anybody oculd do about it. The bike toppled, it landed on the grass, luckily .. for a couple of meters to the right and she would have landed squarely on the gravel path, and that would have hurt immensly.
The woman - for she found out it was a woman - seemed shocked but unhurt by the accident, she took the helmet off and breathed as the cool breeze touched her face. Then she turned to Kira. A slight smile touched her lips as the woman spoke, gesturing towards the bike which was now laying upon the grass. "Sorry no, i'm only new here myself." She said, her tone half apologetic.

Kira, though appearing uncaring was observing this woman with something mingling on concern, she was feeling .. how shall we put it? Dizzy, though to an extent that could mean she had a concussion, there was no way she was getting back on that bike for a good couple of minutes. More than half an hour was Kira's bet. It was odd being a vampire, you didn't notice the risks some put themselves at, Kira could avoid any crash, and if she did have one, she could walk away unharmed. It was good in a way, but also bad. Dying for her was out of the question, somethign she should have done when she met them. She listened to the woman speak, her eyes once again wandering to the still surface of the lake, wondering if there was anything down there. God knows there could be, in that still, dark water the prospect that something could be in there was so inviting, yet not in a way one would want.
"You want me to come with you?" She questioned in mild suprise, that was odd. Kira briefly kicked herself, honestly she could do so much damage to this woman, her scent was inviting, yet Kira could resist, she HAD to resist. But that didn't make a difference ... the harm, the danger she could be putting this woman in. "... I don't know my way very well. Oh .. I'm Kira." She thought it best to be honest, and it was rude not to introduce herself. But tell this human she was a vampire? No, never.

She sighed inwardly, her insides seeming to quake with some unexplained fear. Kira had always been terrified of what she was, of what she was capable of. She had been a vampire three years now and she still knew nothing compared to others, she would forever remain the age of seventeen, she would never even mature to an adult. Well, that was physically, mentally she would become older and wiser than most ever could. But it hurt, to know that she could never fall in love, even if she wanted to, for those who she fell in love with would eventually grow old and die, and here would be she. Alone and immortal for the rest of her days until someone took pity on the cursed vampire and killed her. Either way she would relish in the feeling .. finally, eternal peace. Instead of this lasting anxiety, that she was never rid of.
Kira was inhumanly beautiful, it was a power of the vampires, they appealed visually to other humans ...so drawing them closer. But it was a power not needed, if a human was as close as this human was to Kira now, they could not escape. If she wanted to, she could both outrun and hold this woman still. She was so much stronger, so much faster. But she would not, she never would, she had already sworn that to herself. Over and over again. Finally the woman seemed to come back from her dreaming. Stating her name, Kira nodded slowly.
"Callie ... nice to meet you." She mused slightly, her eyes seeming unclear and foccused elsewhere. But she was still very much in the present, she knew exactly what this woman was saying. At her questions Kira shrugged slightly, brushing her black strands of hair over her shoulder. "Honestly i'm not sure, a couple of days i guess." She said simply, again with another shrug.
